Senor Campos Mexican Recipes and Family Secrets
This book is dedicated to my grandparents Frank and Ana Campos, who risked their lives when they came across the Mexican Border to escape renegade bandits and to find a better life for their children.
They endured many struggles in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution during 1910. Their home and possessions confiscated and they were forced to leave their families in Mexico to find a better way of life for future generations.
They were able to overcome many obstacles traveling from Los Mochis, Mexico to Nogales with only $100.00 to support his family, to Utah and then to California. They raised their children under extreme prejudice against Mexicans in those years, but found a way to endure through the eyes of faith and courage. It is also dedicated to my father, Arthur Campos, who was a role model and pioneer in the Mexican Food Industry throughout the Central Valley in California.
